Food Service Worker Training Course
DIPLOMA PROGRAM
This practical training program is designed for individuals who wish to become effective members of a food service team within a health-care organization. Students receive target training in areas such as safe food handling, food service, sanitation, nutrition; and, quantity food preparation. The program includes a practicum placement term in a healthcare facility, which provides students with vast hands-on experience that meets current government standards and employer requirements. Successful graduates find employment in: Hospitals, Long Term Care Institutions, Special Care Homes and Integrated Care Facilities.
DURATION & INVESTMENT
- 15 week program - instructor-led (including 5 weeks of Clinical Placement)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (Morning, Afternoon or Evening Classes)
